Most of you have already registered for the reunion this Friday and Saturday (We’ve already broken the GCC reunion record for responses—woo hoo!). BUT we understand that some of you have had trouble getting on the website to sign up.
Trust us, we understand: First of all, you’re old, and second of all, we know where you got your early technical training:
1981: A young Jim Palmer wrestles with the complexities of this newfangled computer terminal thingie in the GCC computer lab |
The problem is that the impossibly-convoluted GCC website can make it seem like you have to be registered in the Alumni “e-community” to get to the reunion sign-up page, which is not the case. YOU DON’T NEED A USER ID AND PASSWORD TO SIGN UP FOR THE REUNION.
Just go directly to our reunion page here
and scroll to the bottom to fill out the registration form:
IF THAT DOESN’T WORK for some reason, here’s the long way to get there:
Go to www.gcc.edu
On the left side, click "Alumni and Friends"
On the left side again, click "Homecoming"
In the middle white part, click the link with the word "Here"
Go down to "25th - Class of 1982"
In the white part under the Dear Class of '82 member, click the link "reunion page"
The next page is "Events" and details the info about homecoming.
At the bottom of the page is the "Event Details" and the registration form.
Choose which events that you want to attend and register.
If you’re still having problems, ask one of your kids to help you, or contact or Tech Support Guru, Mary Ellen Brosek, at her e-mail address below.
Apparently the Alumni Office is still letting people register, so hurry!
